BAMBOO CATHEDRAL
The Bamboo Cathedral, nestled in Tucker Valley, Chaguaramas, is one of Trinidad’s most enchanting natural attractions—a tranquil, tree-lined path where towering bamboo stalks curve overhead to form a majestic canopy resembling a cathedral’s vaulted ceiling. This serene 300-meter trail is perfect for peaceful walks, photography, and wildlife spotting, with frequent sightings of red howler monkeys, capuchins, tropical birds, and butterflies. Easily accessible and paved, it caters to all fitness levels and lies just a short drive from Port of Spain. Located along Tracking Station Road, it also connects to more challenging trails that lead to the historic U.S. satellite tracking station and offer sweeping views of the northern coastline. Bamboo Cathedral is approximately 33 kilometres from Traum House Lodge.
